Mediasonde v1.2 is an audio player which can play MPEG audio files-- MP3, VBR, MP2 and MP1 files. It displays very detailed information of the file being played. Mediasonde has a 10 band graphic equalizer with a sharp cutoff and a gain control. It has a real time spectrum analyzer display which displays the amplitude of sound vs. its frequency. It has a very advanced playlist which doubles as your MP3 library-- play the files in whichever way you like. You can add MP3 files or folders, organize, sort by artist, title, genre, year or duration, and create, save and open M3U playlists. The playlist will automatically remove obsolete entries. You can 'navigate' through the loaded files using back and forward buttons just like in a web browser. The Equalizer and Playlist slides in and out of view with the click of their respective buttons. Player functions can be controlled with the keyboard.
