It is early 1900. The Tsar of Russia is dead, victim of a long illness -- or so it appears. The Tsar’s son, Peter has come to power. Unlike his father, a respected diplomat and politician, Peter is power hungry and not content to simply rule over a broken and impoverished land. His plan is to create the largest army on the face of the planet, turning the bulk of the nation’s industry to creating an all powerful war machine. This force can then be used to strike directly into the heart of Europe invading and occupying each country in turn.

As Peter’s hideous plans unfold, the as yet unoccupied countries of the world unite to form an alliance, in a desperate attempt to fight back against the growing Russian power. A small elite team is formed, known only as the "Shadow Command". Its brief is to penetrate deep behind enemy lines for surveillance, sabotage, and assassination operations. As "Red", one of the most experienced operatives in Shadow Command, it is your job to ensure these missions are completed and the rest of the world remains free.

You must triumph over 12 missions in the game, each set in a different location and each with its own unique set of tasks to be completed. These range from assassinations to bomb disposal aboard a moving train, stealing plans to destroying dams, and hostage rescue to destroying a Russian super weapon. Each level requires a new set of skills, and in many cases involves piloting one of the many vehicles in the game, ranging from a cargo truck to a biplane.

You will have complete freedom of movement within each mission map, both over and underground and inside buildings. An intense 3D engine features a physical world system that simulates gravity, air resistance (drag), friction, vehicle suspension, and weapon recoil while 3D stereo sound will keep your pulse pounding with features such as realistic weapons firing and Doppler effects.
