System Brand Changer is a lightweight and portable application that enables users to easily and quickly change the image of the system logo.The utility contains a few standard options which are intuitive enough to be figured out even by less experienced users.Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file in any location on the hard disk and just click it to run. Administrative rights are required.There is also the alternative to save System Brand Changer to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to use it on any machine. Note that .NET Framework must be installed, though.What's worth taking into account is that the app does not create new entries in the Windows Registry or Start menu/screen, leaving the HDD clean after removal.The interface is based on a very small frame with an elegant appearance, where you can point out an image to apply as the system logo by using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported.It is possible to restore settings to their default values, view system information, modify OEM properties (e.g. manufacturer, model, support URL), as well as to edit image settings (original, default or custom size). There are no other notable features provided by System Logo Changer.The app runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. It applies changes quickly and does not require system restart. We have not come across any issues in our testing.All in all, System Brand Changer offers a simple solution to turning the system logo into a custom image, and it should please all types of users, regardless of their skill level.
