Gazz File Manager : Simple file manager that lets you open, copy, delete or move files to other locations, which features only basic options for rookies
Gazz File Manager is a feather-light and portable file manager that comes loaded with just some basic operation types for less skilled users. Before proceeding any further, you should know that this app hasn't been updated for a very long time, so you may experience compatibility issues on later Windows editions.
No installation required
As there is no setup kit involved, you can drop Gazz File Manager's executable file in any directory on the hard drive and just click it to launch the app. An alternative option is to keep a copy stored on a USB flash drive to carry the tool with you wherever you go, and be prepared to run it on any PC. More importantly, it doesn't make any changes to the registry configuration, unlike most installers.
Outdated interface with basic options
Although the GUI doesn't include attractive graphical elements, it's rather simple to navigate but not that convenient. You can use a drop-down menu to select a disk drive and explore its containing directories and files, as well as open, copy, delete or move files to other locations. There are no other notable options provided by this application.
Evaluation and conclusion
It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the workstation in our tests, since it used low CPU and RAM to function normally. Plus, it didn't hang, crash or display error messages on older Windows. However, given its outdated interface, weak set of options, and general instability issues with newer OS versions, you should probably look for a more reliable file manager than Gazz File Manager.
