The key difference is that the portable version can be saved to a removable storage unit to directly launch it on any other computer to modify PE files.
Straightforward interface and options
The GUI is made from a normal window with a classical-looking structure that provides direct access to all available settings. Once you point out a PE file, you can edit the file and product version number, major and minor edition, build, and release. What's more, you can assign module attributes such as debug build or special build, pre-release or private build, select the file OS, type and subtype along with the language locale ID and code page, as well as alter the company name, file description, and legal copyright. Once all modifications are made, you can save the file as PE or a resource.
