The interface of the program features the ‘Workspace’ as the focal point of the tool, set by default in ‘Editor View’ mode, the other available options being ‘Internal’ and ‘External Preview’; on the left-side panel, users can access the ‘Toolbox’, ‘File Manager’, ‘Snippets’, ‘Project’ or ‘Class Browser’.Maguma Studio Light for PHP allows users to work with existing files in PHP, HTM, PHPC, HTML, INC and other formats, while also enabling users to start a new document from scratch in any of the aforementioned file types, as well as several more, like PAS, SQL, VBS, CSS, BAS or TPL.The application offers a set of basic editing functions, such as copy, paste, cut, undo, redo, find and replace, as well as allowing them to ‘Add Watch At Cursor’ or ‘Toggle Breakpoint’; moreover, it can help them create and insert a ‘Class Definition’ or a ‘Function Definition’ into their files. Other available features include the ability to ‘Find Matching Brace’, ‘Escape String’, ‘Insert PHP Braces’ or ‘Insert PHP Script Language Tags’.When complete, users have the possibility of running the ‘Debug Session’, on condition that they first set the a web server document root subpath which can be accessed by the webserver. This setting is also required in order for the utility to be able to generate an ‘External Browser Preview’.Moreover, Maguma Studio Light for PHP enables users to configure ‘Script Execution Parameters’ after which they can opt to either ‘Run’ it or ‘Run and Redirect Output To File’, depending on their individual needs.
