UML Pad is a lightweight Windows utility designed to help you create class, sequence, state, and activity diagrams.Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you to need to generate diagrams on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps.It sports a clean and intuitive layout that offers only a few configuration settings to play with.The program gives you the possibility to insert predefined text boxes or other elements for each diagram, embed text messages, as well as customize the text in terms of font, font style, and size.UML Pad enables you to drag and drop each element to the desired position on the workspace, import data from UUD, UCD, USD, USS, or UAD file format for editing the diagram data, perform basic editing operations (e.g. cut, copy, paste, delete), and zoom in or out.Last but not least, you are allowed to print or export the generated diagram to JPG or BMP file format, and switch to a full screen mode for a better focus on your work.During our testing we have noticed that UML Pad carries out a task quickly and provides very good output results.
