In depth
A closer look at JSIM-51
JSIM51 is a powerful tool for software development with 8051-Controllers and it's derivatives. The program is designed to simulate the processor kernel and some of the hardware functions. In this way it's possible to test software parts independently of the target platform. The speed of this simulator reaches (running on a Pentium 200) nearly that of an 8051 clocked with 10MHz (in the best case without trace). The operation philosophy and user interface is designed as far as possible and sensible like that from MS-VisualC++ 4.2.
