REST Assured is an open source and free Java DSL for simplifying testing of REST based services built on top of HTTP Builder. REST Assured comes with support for POST, GET, PUT, DELETE and HEAD requests and includes specifying and validating e.g. headers, parameters, cookies and body easily.
