In depth
A closer look at XPath
XPath is a tiny application that was especially created in order to provide developers with a simple means of evaluating XPath expressions. The program can be run from command-line and it supports a simple set of parameters. Thus, you can choose to flatten the output into one line, select the files to which the XPath expressions will be applied to and then set the expression that will actually be used onto those files.
