As there is no setup pack involved, you can save Codepage Converter anywhere on the disk and just click its executable to launch the app. This is also possible when storing it on a pen drive to keep it with you at all times and access it on any PC quickly. Unlike most installers, it doesn't alter Windows registry settings, so it doesn't increase the risk of OS stability issues.

Outdated interface with simple options

The UI doesn't have any visually attractive elements, adopting a classical look instead. On the other hand, it's quite easy to navigate.All you have to do is indicate the source file, along with the source and destination encoding method. Evaluation and conclusion

Unsurprisingly, it left a small footprint on the system performance throughout our evaluation, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and memory to work properly. We haven't experienced any stability issues, since it didn't hang, crash or show error dialogs.On the other hand, the program is not that feature-rich. We must also take into account the fact that it hasn't been updated for a long time. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
