NetSNSOR is a fairly lightweight and simple utility whose main purpose is to periodically check on your Internet connection in order to identify whether it’s properly running or not. An EXE file can be launched or a WAV file can be played if the connection is not active.The application acts as a silent monitor, as it can be sent to the system tray and query the connection without you even noticing it. The only time you’ll be aware of it is when a malfunction is detected, at which point the preset conditions come into play.NetSNSOR does not require installation and can be run as is, without affecting the system registry. The simple interface is home to a couple of tabs that allow you to view the current status of the Internet connection and to configure the actions that should be taken when there’s a connection issue.It can immediately detect if you’re connection is currently running by pressing the ‘Status’ button, at which point it displays the status, alongside the time and date of the detection. Before starting the monitoring service, you are required to customize the course of action in case the connection is not active.Options include choosing an executable file and / or a WAV file (at least one of these should be provided, although not necessarily both of them), as well as setting the check interval (in minutes).Advanced users can also take advantage of the batch file (included in the download package) that was created by the author of the software as a means of solving a malfunctioning Internet connection. However, the BAT file must be edited to contain your own details, such as connection name, username and password and can be run separately from the application.On an ending note, NetSNSOR facilitates an easy monitoring process for your connection. It notifies you when there is a certain Internet issue by displaying audio notifications or by executing a file of choice.
