Dynamic DNS update report straight in your browser

xProDDNS is a browser based application that enables you to manage workstations and servers from a remote location. The software prompts you to set a master passphrase the first time you use it, in order to create a layer of protection for your work and private data. The program is designed to keep you up to date with the changes made in several dynamic DNS configurations.Dynamic DNS is a method for automatic update of a name server in the domain name server, or DNS. These updates can be observed in real time, with the help of the configured hostnames, addresses and login credentials. The dynamic DNS updating refers to automatically appending DNS records with new data or modifying a local network database.

Configure the connection to DNS service providers

There are several DNS service providers that the software supports and allows you to connect to, using a host name, IP addess and login credentials. These connections can easily be established thanks to the wizard function xProDDNS provides. It prompts you to create one or several connections to the supported providers: No-IP, Dyn, OpenDNS or DNS-O-Matic.Once the connections are established, the software displays their details on separate rows in a table. You can view the hostname, login name and service provider, as well as the NIC parameter or the update status. The MAC, private IP and public IP are displayed under the NIC column, while the update status indicates the date and address to which the modifications were made.

Reliable update log viewer

After configuring the servers and the master passphrase, xProDDNS can be accessed from any browser, on a computer with Internet connection. Simply type in the server name and port, then connect to the xProDDNS dashboard. An activity log is displayed in the area below the connections, as well as saved to a local CSV file.
