For your convenience, the contents of the table can be saved locally in XMl format and loaded at a later time.When you are done editing the hostnames and the IP addresses, Easy Hosts File Editor can generate a new hosts file and save it to your computer. In order for your system to read it automatically, you have to move it to the default location in Windows and there is a dedicated option that can help you do that without a lot of effort.

The 'Advanced' mode is a bit different, in the way that you get to create a hosts file from scratch, without any help. Easy Hosts File Editor can load the current hosts file, enabling you to read its content.Just like in 'Basic' mode, the changed file can be saved to the program's directory and the original hosts file can be replaced with a single click.
