SSH clients are great little tools that establish a secure connection between two machines and help solve various administration problems from afar. DameWare SSH Client makes no exception.
Fast installation process, intuitive layout
The application installs without a problem on the system and once launched an intuitive and pleasant interface with options around the terminal window.One of the advantages available in DameWare SSH Client is support for multiple sessions at once. They are organized in tabs and switching between them is done with a click of the mouse.In the left part of the screen there are the connection details, with the necessary fields for inputting the IP of the host, the protocol that should be used (Telnet, SSH1/2) as well as the log in credentials.
Functionality
The username and password can be saved for future usage and selecting them is done from a drop down menu. Moreover, for establishing the connection easier, the application offers the possibility to save the details of an entire session to a file that can be stored locally.Once the file is opened all the fields are automatically filled with the details and all there is left to do is to initiate the connection.
Very simple SSH client
DameWare SSH Client does not provide a rich list of options and more experienced users require more than the possibility to store log in credentials and the details of a session.Its advantage is tab support, which allows working with multiple connections at the same time. In some cases, though, this may be enough.
