Configure recording options
So, you can capture the full screen, predefined or custom window, specify the capture position on the screen (e.g. top left, center, bottom right), as well as enable a background and customize the color.When it comes to audio and video settings, you can select the compression mode and frames per second, along with the sound device and input lines. Screen2Avi supports hotkeys for starting, pausing and stopping the recording, as well as for toggling the background and taking snapshots. Evaluation and conclusion
CPU and RAM consumption was low during Screen2Avi's runtime. It has a good response time and outputs quality video files. We have not come across any stability issues in our evaluation, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. All in all, it gets the job done and can be used by anyone.
