As the name of this program implies, Agile AVI Video Splitter allows you to cut files with the AVI format. But it also supports ASF, MPG, MP4, WMV, MOV and VOB.The interface of the program is plain and easy to work with. Videos can be imported by using either the file browser or “drag and drop" function.So, Agile AVI Video Splitter allows you to trim videos by marking the start and end time, or into equal-sized sections. You can also change the format of the output clip into 3GP, 3G2, AAC, ASF, AVI, FLV and others. Once the output directory and extension have been established, you can proceed with the trimming procedure.But you can also make audio and video modifications when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate bit tolerance, frame rate, aspect ratio, frequency rate, number of channels, volume, bit exact algorithms and deinterlacing. Options can be saved to an existing profile.In the "Settings" area you can set Agile AVI Video Splitter to overwrite existing files, as well as to open the output directory, exit or to turn off the computer once all tasks are done. Preferences can be restored to default.The video processing program requires a moderate-to-high amount of system CPU and memory, in order to finish a task in a short while. It has a good response time, includes a help file and preserves a good image and sound quality after conversion. We have not come across any issues during our testing. Agile AVI Video Splitter did not freeze, crash or pop up errors. On the downside, you cannot minimize the tool to the system tray or simultaneously cut multiple parts from the same video. No recent updates have been made.
