So, after you establish the output directory, format and preset, you can proceed with the encoding job.Furthermore, you can select the audio track and subtitle, convert the main movie or entire disc, split DVDs by chapters, as well as preview clips in a small, built-in media player and take snapshots (to BMP or JPEG).On top of that, you can enable deinterlacing, open the output directory and check out a log file (e.g. audio and video properties, chapter count, stream mapping). During the conversion operation, you can set MediaLion DVD Ripper Ultimate to play a sound and to automatically turn off the computer once the videos have been converted.This DVD ripping software runs on a moderate amount of system resources and provides you with an online step-by-step guide. It has a good response time, completes a task quickly and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. The image and sound quality is preserved at a fair level.On the other hand, you cannot customize audio and video preferences (e.g. resolution, bit rate, frame rate, channel mode) or split clips by time or size (at least you have some useful presets). Nevertheless, MediaLion DVD Ripper Ultimate can be handled by users of all levels.
