The application does not come with an interface of it own and you can open it via the context menu.You can find a dead pixel by either specifying its location of on the monitor (in cases where the issue is very visible) or by scanning various areas of the screen. It is necessary to mention that in the latter case, you can open as many windows as you want and cover the entire surface of the monitor.
Minimalistic, yet flexible settings
