Owners of Sigma cameras, especially the models sd Quattro, SD1 and SD1 Merrill, could require a tool that would allow them to access camera features remotely. SIGMA Capture Pro was created in order to allow them to connect their cameras to their PCs and control their settings and features.The application features a multi-section interface that will allow users to access the different camera modules by either using its menus or dedicated sections. Separate buttons for the autofocus and autoexposure lock are also provided and one can select a preferred exposure mode.Full control of the camera’s features is provided and the exposure mode selected from the dropdown menu will correspond with the position of the physical dial. Other parameters such as ISO sensitivity, aperture or exposure compensation can also be controlled by using the on-screen provided buttons.Access to in-detail settings for the white balance and color temperature is also provided and people will be able to adjust the image quality, size and aspect ratio as well. Furthermore, the contrast, sharpness and saturation can also be modified and the application does provide several predefined filters for added effect.Image handling is offered in the form of rotation operations and one can also resort to extra features such as auxiliary autofocus light, autofocus volume or exposure timer sounds. Finally, flash settings complete the feature bundle and allow people to completely control their cameras remotely, by using their PCs.
