In depth
A closer look at STLNormalSwitcher
The STLNormalSwitcher is a small, simple and easy-to-use program that allows you to view STL-files (Surface Tesselation Language) and invert the normal vectors, making them point the opposite way. It can also convert your STL-files from ASCII to Binary and vice versa. STLNormalSwitcher displays a workpiece from an STL-file in a lighted OpenGl control allowing to rotate it and inspect it from all sides. Those triangles whose normal vectors point the wrong way can be easily identified, as they don't reflect the light and thus appear darker.
