One of the application’s main advantages is that you don’t even have to get it installed on your computer to run, so you can run it from the moment download is done. What’s more, portability means that the target PC’s stability doesn’t get affected in any way, since registries don’t need to be modified for the application to work.The visual design is based on multiple windows, so you can customize your workspace. Multiple views can be brought up, each in its own window, and the same can be said about the set of controls, situated in a floating menu. Unless you close the main window, there’s no problem with closing camera windows.

Leaves more to be desired

You can either start off with a new project from scratch, or work on several existing models. However, you might want to take some time getting familiar with all functions because of the rough design, and especially since there are no tooltips to provide info, regardless of how long you hover the cursor over a menu, or button.Building tools are meant to be easy, but the poor variety doesn’t necessarily make it so. You only get to work with a few tools to connect different points, with the application automatically filling in connected areas.Resize, rotate, and move functions are all based on points. Several view types can be used to enable visibility for points alone, wireframe, or the entire structure. Sadly, export options leave more to be desired, with no option to save your project under popular file types for better processing.

In conclusion

On an ending note, Pygmalion3D comes with a rather poor set of features, which might also take a lot of time to get familiar with. The creation process itself isn’t so difficult once you get the hang of it, but the overall simplicity does more harm than help, and creating a simple object can prove to be quite the challenge.
