In depth
A closer look at DeAnaglyph
DeAnaglyph is a handy application designed to recontruct stereo images. It is supposed to convert anaglyph movie DVDs, which usually offer both a 2D and a 3D version, to stereo pairs for shutterglasses viewing or passive projection. However, the algorithm is not fast enough to convert movies yet. It takes a few minutes to convert a single frame. Please note that the horizontal parallax must be within ±20 pixel and the vertical parallax within ±5, else the algorithm will produce artefacts. Only pixels within a 16 pixel wide border can be processed.
