AviMerin is a tool developed to help you combine two or more AVI clips into a single file. Videos are converted from MotionJpeg (mjpg) to DivX, Xvid and Mpeg4. Meanwhile, uncompressed audio is converted to MP3 format. Two sound tracks are supported.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and memory to function normally. Videos were merged rapidly. Too bad that AviMerin hasn't been updated for a long time. Otherwise, it can be handled with ease by all user levels.
