Whitenoir is a small software application whose purpose is to help you convert an image to a strictly two color monochrome picture. In order to run the program correctly and avoid bumping into all sorts of errors and compatibility issues, you need to have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or a higher version deployed on the target computer.

Needs no installation

It’s easy to work with portable tools like Whitenoir because you can gain access to the GUI by running the executable file without having to go through an installation process. Plus, you may open it without administrative privileges.The utility can be kept on pen drives or other similar devices so you can carry it with you all the time. You may uninstall it with a simple deletion task because it does not create extra entries in your Windows registry.

Whitenoir sports a user-friendly layout that allows you to get an idea about how to set up the dedicated parameters in a short amount of time. You cannot appeal to a help manual to read more about the configuration process, but you can manage to tweak the dedicated parameters on your own.

Image editing features

Photos can be imported in the working environment using only the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented). You can preview the imported images directly in the main window. The tool does not offer support for support for batch actions so you cannot process multiple pictures at the same time.Whitenoir offers you the possibility to choose two user-defined colors from the built-in palette in order to edit the pictures. In addition, you are allowed to alter the final results by moving the built-in slider, copy the processed photo to the clipboard, and save the edited image to the same location where the source file is stored. The editing adjustments can be previewed directly in the primary panel.
