If you are an Aml Pages and Total Commander user, you probably looked for a way to view APD files from the file manager utility without having to leave the application.Fortunately, you can do so by turning to specialized software, in this case, Aml View, which is a plugin that lets you accomplish your task without considerable efforts.

Easy to install

Integrating this plugin with your file manager can be done in two different ways. The easier way is to navigate from Total Commander to the location of the archive and double-click it. The application automatically detects that a plugin is included in the compressed file and prompts you to install it.The more complicated way requires you to unpack the contents of the archive, launch Total Commander, open its Configuration window, navigate to Plugins, click the Configure button next to the Lister Plugins (.WLX) category and add the WLX file from the unpacked archive.

View APD files from Total Commander

You can turn to Aml View if you want a quick way to view APD files created with Aml Pages without having to leave the Total Commander window. After installing the plugin, you can do so by simply browsing to the location of the document, selecting it and hitting the F3 button on your keyboard.Doing so launches a new window where the document is displayed. You can also modify some options, such as the display mode, encoding type or text wrapping. Controlling the program's behavior can be done by selecting Configure from the Options menu.
