Here’s how the program works

Once you launch DPI Gonzales, it checks the Windows pointer speed setting and uses it as a baseline for its calculations. When moving the cursor to a different monitor, the pointer speed is adjusted automatically depending on its resolution, DPI and the Windows scaling setting.It is preferable to keep the pointer speed in Windows at the default setting, which is right in the middle of the slider, and to disable the “Enhance Pointer Precision” option. It is important to note that, after the application is launched, any changes to the mouse speed setting will be reverted when moving to a different monitor.

Not as novice-friendly as we would have liked, but very useful indeed

There is no question that DPI Gonzales can be very helpful if your machine is equipped with high- and low-DPI monitors, but it would have been great if the effects of the customizable parameters were explained in the documentation.Users also have to add the application to the startup list manually, but this shouldn’t be all that difficult.
