Manage disks using a portable app

Lightweight and easy to use, this software application comes wrapped in a simple interface that gives you the possibility to edit, delete or create new disks or partitions on your system. It doesn't have to be installed but requires administrative rights.The downloaded packages features two separate .exe files to x86 and x64 Windows, so make sure to run the one that corresponds to your architecture types.

Create or delete disks and partitions

Your existing disks and partitions are autodetected at startup and listed in the main window, where you can check out the offset and length (bytes), number of hidden sectors, disk and boot type, along with attributes.Options become available when opening the right-click menu. You can create new disks (MBR, GPT, RAW), delete existing disk layouts, create or delete partitions. Additionally, you can change the partition type, boot or disk ID as well as partition ID. Just keep in mind that these extra options are only applicable to MBR disks. Partition types and attributes may also be modified for GPT disks.

Although PartMgr has a straightforward interface and options, it's not ideal for casual users who don't know what they're doing because unwanted changes cannot be rolled back with this app.However, it offers a simple solution for users experienced with partition managers. It's a no-hassle program that occupies little space and requires no installation.
