zaBox is a lightweight and user-friendly piece of software developed to provide you with quick access to all your favorite programs, enabling you to launch them with a click, thus saving the time it would otherwise take you to find them on your PC, while also sparing you of the desktop clutter due to unnecessary shortcuts.

Hotkey-accessible interface

Subsequent to the setup process, the application retreats to the notification area, where you can access it by means of a right-click menu on its icon.The main interface of zaBox can be called out using the CTRL+~ key combination, while from the system tray menu, you can adjust its functioning parameters.

Define the software you want to launch with a click

For starters, you will need to define the programs that you wish to access through zaBox, which can be done from the ‘Settings’ window. All you have to do is browse through your system and load the executable of the targeted utility. However, drag and drop is not supported.The ‘Add’, ‘Move Up’, ‘Move Down’ and ‘Remove’ buttons allow you to manage the items in your list, as well as their position. When complete, you can press ‘OK’ and use the default hotkey CTRL+~ (which currently does not permit any customization) and view the programs, clicking on the one you want to launch.The size of the access panel, which functions as a main interface for zaBox, automatically adjusts to fit all the applications that you have added. As such, depending on how many entries you add, it will appear larger or smaller.

Overall, zaBox proves to be a useful and effective utility that can help you keep all your favorite apps just two keystrokes away, launching them with a click, when needed. While the rather limited customizable options make it clear that it is still under development, zaBox shows promise for future enhancements.
