Numpad is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping you run various actions on your computer, such as launching the calculator or default web browser, playing, pausing, or stopping the current audio selection from Winamp, refreshing the desktop, or restarting the computer using the numeric keypad.The layout is intuitive enough to be configured without having to go consult a help manual or watch online tutorials.The program gives you the possibility to select the action that you want to trigger, namely close, maximize, minimize, or restore the active utility, eject the CD, launch your default email client or Windows Explorer, as well as minimize or restore all panels.Additionally, it offers support for features that help you mute the sound, control Winamp by going to the previous or next song, run the screensaver, open the Shutdown dialog, and others.What’s more, you can make the utility run a file (EXE file format) or go to a user-defined link before triggering the action, and assign a key for the selected process.Last but not least, you can enable or disable its functions, run the tool at Windows startup, and use the Scroll Lock key for activating or deactivating the app.During our testing we have noticed that Cool! Numpad carries out a task very quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process.
