Easy HR Uptime is a speedy application that reveals information about your computer, more importantly the time passed since its last startup. This can be helpful when you share your machine with other people, or to figure out if the PC was automatically restarted after leaving it unattended.

Simple installer and interface

Setting it up takes minimal time and effort, thanks to the fact that there aren't any special options or prerequisite software components involved.When it comes to the interface, Easy HR Uptime sticks to a simple appearance represented by a small window, which shows the PC uptime in days, hours, minutes and seconds, in addition to the computer name, name of the currently logged user, together with the Windows version.

Observations and downsides

An aspect worth mentioning is that the tool is capable of registering the uptime even when the PC was booted prior to its installation. Unfortunately, it doesn't implement other practical options.For instance, it doesn't give you the possibility to copy data to the Clipboard, print it, or export it to file. Moreover, it doesn't contain advanced features, such as automatically recording statistics to log files or keeping track of the PC uptime between different logon sessions.

Evaluation and conclusion

Although it hasn't been updated for a long time, it correctly displayed the computer uptime on newer Windows models in our tests, along with the PC name and current user name. However, it failed to do this for the Windows edition. CPU and RAM consumption was minimal, as we expected.All in all, Easy HR Uptime facilitates a simple and effective method to find out for how long your machine has been running. It's free for non-commercial use but doesn't include advanced settings. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
