Windows Service Master : Examine active and inactive Windows services and manage them quickly and efficiently by opening context menus for the required items
Windows Service Master is an advanced utility with intuitive options that enables you to view and control your currently running services. For instance, you can open registry keys, uninstall services, or just view service properties.
Portable tool with admin rights
The application's wrapped in a single .exe file that can be dropped anywhere on the disk or copied to a removable storage unit, in order to seamlessly launch it on any computer. Administrative rights are required to avoid startup errors. It doesn't need DLLs to run, create files on the HDD without asking for your permission, or make any modifications to the Windows registry on its own. A simple file deletion is enough to get rid of it.
Simple GUI for viewing services
The interface is represented by a simple window with a classical appearance that doesn't put emphasis on graphical elements, yet it's easy to navigate. The services are auto-detected and displayed at startup, so you can check out their name and display name, type (e.g. device driver, share a process with other application, run its own process), along with status (running or stopped).
Control services and view properties
Windows Service Master can be instructed to hide the device and filesystem driver services, active or inactive services, as well as sharing or standalone process services. You can click an entry to find out the service's full path, start or stop a service with one click from the right-click menu, open its registry key in the Registry Editor, uninstall a service, or refresh displayed information if any changes were made in the meantime.
