BSETAudit : Identifies what programs are installed on a host Windows computer
In depth
A closer look at BSETAudit
The BSETAudit application was developed to be a small utility that identifies what programs are installed on a host Windows computer and allows this list to be exported to CSV or Microsoft Excel. This utility interrogates the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall' key in the Windows registry, obtains a list of the currently installed programs, and allows the user to export a list of the programs to either a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file or a Microsoft Excel (XLS) spreadsheet.
