DriveSight is a useful tool designed to assist the SharePoint community in analyzing file shares which may be uploaded into, or indexed by, SharePoint. We recognize that not all enterprise file shares are created equal - some primarily contain gigabytes of archived office documents, while others may act as a repository for all sorts of files - drawings, images, executables, videos, etc. In order to configure SharePoint to house or index this content, it's important to understand the data.
