Before this is done, it’s recommended to pay a visit to the options panel in order to modify general, reporting, and verification settings, which also include regions of the computer to put under the scope.

Generate reports and compare snapshots

You might have to wait a little while until the snapshot is created. Sadly, there’s no progress indicator during this time, and it’s also a good idea to cease all other activities, to enable proper reading of registry entries, or even directory trees. You can choose to have a report opened right afterwards, and these can also be viewed at any moment through the built in explorer.Apart from the snapshot creation mode, the application can also report changes, and verify them. This enables a proper checkup after long computer use time, especially if it starts moving slower than usual. Reports can be made readable for the application only, as well as saved under the XML format.

All in all, SupermonX does a good job at monitoring your computer, helping you understand why you encounter drops in performance. Although it can’t be set to automatically create snapshots at regular intervals, it doesn’t generally take much time to manually take one and compare it to others.
