Whenever you launch your computer, there are a few applications that are automatically started and running in the background. Fortunately, there are some applications that you could use in order to manage said programs.One of them is Free Startup Manager. It's a neat program that allows you to add or remove applications in the list, delete entries and even view file properties.

Simple and compact graphical interface

The application sports a really intuitive and fluent graphical interface, with access to all sections in the toolbar.Unfortunately, it doesn't have any customization options which means that you won't be able to make any changes to the interface. It also lacks a help menu with instructions on how to use the program. Still, it doesn't require any setup which is quite nice.

Manage startup applications

It automatically launches with a list of all startup applications for the current computer user, as well as all user accounts created on your system. It displays the name and the location of programs. You can add whichever program you want from the list, simply browse your computer and pick one.It also lets you add common folders, like My Documents, My Computer, My Desktop and Program Files Folder. You can open these folders directly from the application or remove startup programs if you want.

Add websites and show program properties

It allows you to add websites to the list of startup items, simply type in the website name and the URL. You can also view properties on various programs and schedule tasks inside the application.It comes with links to local services and the task scheduler on your computer. It would have been nice if it had its one task scheduler.All in all, Free Startup Manager is a small and functional application that you could use in order to manage startup programs on your computer and view their properties.
