OLE/COM Object Viewer is a lightweight tool that allows you to detect all the OLE and COM objects available on your PC. The program is designed to provide you with a list of all the resources available on your computer in order to use them in your projects.The application is built for the developers who want to take advantage of the Microsoft Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) technology. Thus, you can easily view all the components registered on your computer that can be embedded in other programs.When you start the app, it automatically scans the computer and displays the installed classes. You can easily browse the shell extensions, embeddable objects and initializable controls from the main window.By default, the Expert view mode is enabled which allows you to browse the interfaces, type libraries and application ID numbers. You can disable this mode from the View menu which can also provide access to the hidden component categories.Unfortunately, the package does not include the components required for examining the interfaces from the list. The warning message allows you to manually locate them on the hard drive if you have already installed them.The main window of the app displays the registry data, access permissions and allows you to make changes to the implementation parameters.
