There’s no setup involved to make it work, so it’s good to go from the moment download is done. Note, however, that .NET Framework is a mandatory requirement to make the application work. On the other hand, you can easily store it on a thumb drive and even use it from there on other computers.A pretty compact window shows up on launch, which sits on top of everything else, just above the tray area. You can move it around, and even have it sent to the tray area, so you have all the desktop space to yourself. The set of controls is intuitive enough, but the visual design leaves much to be desired overall.

Mostly useful for touch-enabled Windows devices

Truth be told, the application is of little use, except if there’s no other method of adjusting volume. Unfortunately, hotkey commands are not supported, and you need to repeatedly press up and down buttons to adjust volume, because holding down the click doesn’t have the same effect.The overall system volume is adjusted. There are no options to bring up the mixer, or any other audio-related settings. It might, however, come in handy for touch-enabled screens, because of the large, clear buttons. Other than that, it’s just a different way of adjusting volume.

In conclusion

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that DKVolume-Touch isn’t really the set of tools you expect to find in a volume adjuster bundle. It can be just the right tool for touch-enabled devices running Windows, but even so, it feels a little rough around the edges.
