Matrix Reloaded Screensaver allows you to personalize your desktop with images and animations from the Matrix movie trilogy. It is designed for the Matrix fans but can also be used by anyone that wants to change the aspect of their desktop.The main feature of the screensaver is the falling code animation that is characteristic to all the Matrix movies. During the animation, the screensaver includes images from the movie and enables you to remember Neo, Trinity, Agent Smith and other favorite characters.If you want a complete Matrix experience, you have the option to enable the sound effects played during the animation. The installation includes music from the movie and can help you recall some of the scenes from the trilogy.The screensaver uses the openGL technology and can be fine-tuned to suit your display properties. You can set the screen resolution and the color depth from the Preferences window. Unfortunately, the maximum resolution is 1280 x 1024 which might be too small for some displays.In order to change the classic aspect of the falling code or the photos you can change the colors that are visible on the screensaver. This intends to help you configure a smooth transition from the desktop theme.In our tests, the screensaver required insignificant memory but used the CPU to the maximum. Still, the flow of the characters was far from smooth and the sound quality was poor. Furthermore, it changed the screen resolution which rearranged all the windows and the shortcuts.If you need to bring back the Matrix theme on your desktop and your display resolution is higher than the screen saver maximum, we recommend to search for another solution.
