Icon Master is a very simple way to convert common image formats to up to 24-bit icons, offering very easy to configure options.The whole picture to icon conversion process is pretty fast, but users are required to adjust a few parameters just after opening the bitmap files.With a very simple and clean interface, Icon Master prompts users to choose the icon size, with three options at their disposal, namely 16x16, 32x32 and 48x48. In addition, you can also configure the transparent color, with dedicated fields for each color, but also the color range, this time with four options: 16 colors, 256 colors, 16-bit and 24-bit.Obviously, Icon Master also supports transparent icons and bitmap stretching, which might come in very handy when working with photos of various dimensions.As you can see, there’s nothing too complicated in Icon Master, but a help section is also available, just to make sure you are on the safe side all the time.What’s more, the application works flawlessly on all Windows versions without slowing down the machines. The conversion engine is very fast and takes around one second if you wish to process just a single picture at a time.All in all, Icon Master is clearly an easy to use product that does exactly what it says with no other fancy or complicated features. It’s especially aimed at beginners, comprising a simple interface and intuitive options for a successful conversion process. Support for more image formats would be useful though.
