Auto Mouse : A small, yet reliable application that aims to provide an efficient manner to automate tasks by forcing the mouse to click automatically at a user-defined interval
Some tasks can be quite time-consuming, even though they might not require much effort on your behalf. Luckily, modern computer applications can be used in order to automate different activities, which is also the case with Auto Mouse, which can perform mouse operations for you while you’re away.
Straightforward interface quickly gets you up and running
First of all, you need to make sure that your computer is fitted with Java Runtime Environment, because it’s a mandatory requirement for functionality. On the other hand, Auto Mouse doesn’t take you through a setup process, which means you can use it directly from a thumb drive, even on other computers. All it has to offer is found in a pretty clean interface, which doesn’t make it difficult to figure out what and how needs to be done. There are two functions which can be activated, namely to move the cursor, and have the application automatically perform clicks. During runtime it can quietly sit in the tray area and do its job.
Can only be used for simple tasks
You don’t necessarily have to use both components of the application, and activation is done at the press of a button. By default, the program is only set to move the cursor. You can set the distance in pixels for the mouse to move, as well as the orientation, which is either horizontal or vertical, and not both.As far as mouse click operations are concerned, you have the liberty of having triggered either the left, middle, or right mouse button. The entire automation process can be done at a regular interval, which you specify in seconds. Additionally, you can choose to make the program run with Windows. Activating everything is easily done by clicking the tray icon, which can be rather difficult, because there’s no hotkey support.
In conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Auto Mouse does manage to help you automate mouse movement and clicks. However, it’s only capable of performing simple tasks, since movement is restricted to an orientation.
