A closer look at EqSWG

Often, you are required to find thinner wire combinations instead of the original wires for easier rewinding. Or, you may not have the required wires for a given coil in your inventory, and need to use what you currently possess. In such cases, wires can be used in parallel.

EqSWG can help you calculate combinations of cross-sectional areas of your original wire with the cross-sectional areas of other wires.

It can provide you with cross-sectional area combinations in the +/-0.5% tolerance range.
