Changing the desktop wallpaper shouldn't be rocket science, even for users who have little interaction with the computer. Whether you modify it via the Control Panel, the dedicated option in the right-click menu or by selecting an image and setting it as the desktop background, this is a basic operation. Even so, there are applications such as Deskk that make it even easier, if that is possible.

Change the wallpaper much faster

What Deskk actually does is browse a folder of your choice to find pictures that can be used as wallpaper and changes the desktop background each time you double-click on its main executable file.It comes in handy if you want to quickly change the wallpaper, without having to navigate to the 'Personalization' area of the Control Panel. Furthermore, you can instruct it to load a new wallpaper each time Windows starts.

One-time configuration

Deskk requires one-time configuration to set the wallpaper style (tile, centre or fit to window) and specify the folder where your images are located. You can also randomize the selection order and therefore, the application will randomly choose one of the pictures in the input directory each time it changes the background.Additional options allow you to select the background color and for this, Deskk comes with an integrated color picker that can help you out.

Modify the wallpaper with a double-click

Deskk provides a faster and more convenient way to change the desktop wallpaper and refreshing the desktop look. Adopting a straightforward approach, it doesn't even require installation, so you simply run the executable to configure it (a DAT file is created) and then double-click on it to modify the background in an instant.
