Using a computer is a lot more than simply playing or watching movies. Performing research and gathering info from the web can be an important activity for which you might need a place to temporarily store important bits of text. As such, EtiquetA comes as a small tool where you can store notes, websites, emails, and more.

Slim, portable sticky note

One advantage in particular is the lack of an installer, which not only saves you some time and effort, but also makes it possible to carry around a way of storing notes, since they’re saved when the application is closed. Registry entries are not modified during runtime, so you don’t have to worry about affecting the health status of the target PC.A pretty compact window shows up on the desktop and represents the startup note. It’s empty by default, and you can start filling it up with text right away. Hovering the cursor over it unveils a common window frame to help you minimize and close the program, but these actions can also be performed from the associated settings panel.

Customize the font you use

Sadly, you can’t resize the note, and a scroll bar doesn’t appear when you pass the visual limit of the sticky note, but you can use the caret to scroll through text up and down. However, the biggest inconvenience is that you only have one sticky note at your disposal. You can run another instance, but the new note is not saved once you close it.General operations are at your disposal, such as copying and pasting text, and minimizing the note when not needed. Text customization is implemented, and is applied to all characters in the edit area. Websites and email addresses are not highlighted, unfortunately.

All things considered, we can state that EtiquetA wants to help you temporarily store any text string of interest. However, it comes with a pretty poor set of features, and only one note at your disposal, even though you can temporarily use more instances.
