Pong as well as video games themselves were invented by Ralph Baer in the 1960s when he introduced 7 prototypes. The last prototype released in 1968 known as "The Brown Box" played Ball & Paddle games, Target Shooting games, and more. Included with this setup is a picture of Ralph Baer just incase you were interested.
