OpenCONVOS : Simple application that shows displays private conversations uploaded by users and allows adding your own, using real names or not
Most conversations between two individuals are meant to be private, unless the communication is done on an open channel that can be monitored by others.OpenCONVOS attempts to break this barrier and provide a platform for uploading the communication snippets and bring them out into the open. It may sound like a crazy idea, but if used in the right way it can become a huge source of laughs.
It does not need to be installed
There is no need to go through an installation process because all you need to do in order to launch the application is double-click the executable file in the extracted folder.Looks are far from being impressive as the interface shows a conversation straight from the beginning. In the upper part there is a search bar that can be used to look for conversation involving a specific interlocutor.
Switch to a different text
At the bottom of the screen there is the possibility to switch to a different, random conversation. If you want to check them out in order you have to scroll to the bottom of the page; there is also the option to upload a new conversation. You can give away the real name of the parts or provide nicknames to protect their privacy. A title is also required and the most important thing, the conversation itself.
Overly simple conversation archive
OpenCONVOS is no complicated tool and contains some pretty good texts, although in many cases it shows dialogs from the movies or books. With a little effort and a larger audience it can become quite fun.
