A decent variety of scenes that are each filled with amusing details and animation

Given that many highly animated screensavers are not free, to find one that displays so much without a cost attached is impressive. The screensaver includes three separate scenes that rotate in a repeating cycle and each one has enough variation to make them individually appealing.There are multiple animals in each scene, the same animals often appear in different scenes doing different things. Eagle eyed users will be able to spot a few extra details as well in various places, some extra animations appear less frequently and are not immediately apparent, providing a fun challenge to spot them.

An impressive array of sound effects and bright colors that will appeal to children

The application does a fine job of including sound effects of nearly each animal and timing them with the animations. When a bee flies past, users will here the buzz, when a cat appears, the purring is loud and attention grabbing. The detail with the timed sound effects provides the effect of drawing users in and bringing more life to the animations.While the animation will get repetitive after several viewings, it provides enough individual action in each scene to delay that for a good amount of time. More scenes would be welcome and perhaps a better variety of animals, rather than the same animals often repeating in each scene. These are small complaints though and overall the animated screensaver does not disappoint.

All in all, while the application could easily be improved with just more scenes, more animations and more effects, that boils down to just wanting to see more of it. The screensaver offers no real drawbacks or problems, with only the child-like style and theme probably not being for every user. Sunny Village is an exceptionally detailed screensaver for one with no cost or hidden fee attached.
