Formerly known as Freecall, VoipConnect can carry out peer to peer mobile calls and help you reduce the cost of your calls and text messages. You are given the freedom to talk to your friends or business associates, send them SMS and store call history.

Prior account configuration required

If you are a new user, an account is needed in order to use the application. The account can be easily created directly from the program’s interface. Alternatively, you can navigate to the official webpage of the application and complete the sign up process there.

Organized user interface with accessible tabs

You are welcomed by a multi-tabbed layout that allows you to easily switch between several important features of the program, such as Start, Contacts, Dialpad, Phone2Phone, SMS, History and Active.Plus, you can easily change the status of your account, namely Online, Not Available, Away or Offline, and sign out (with or without remembering your account password).When a call is active, the program reveals at the right corner of the screen a small indicator that reveals information about your Internet connection signal strength. Plus, you can easily type a phone number or username, adjust the volume and connect or disconnect to or from the current call.

Manage your contacts and your account credit

The Start panel reveals the total number of contacts and the available account credit, while the Contacts one lets you look for contacts in your database and view a list with the most used ones.When it comes to storing a new contact, you may provide details about the name, company, email address, address, ZIP code, city, state/province, country, and phone number. Additionally, you may add a new user by simply entering the email address, login name or full name, and search for contacts in the application's database.

Several handy features for initiating phone calls and SMS

You can use the dial pad in order to easily write phone numbers and carry out phone to phone conversations by simply entering the destination phone number and confirming yours.The tool lets you send SMS by specifying the phone number and writing the text message. Additionally, you may send scheduled messages at a user-defined date and hour. The History section displays your call list while the Active panel gives information about all active calls.
