IntelliTamper is a tiny but very practical tool that you can use to scan a website in order to reveal all its files and folders, including the unlisted ones.

Easy-to-trigger actions

The interface is extremely simple to use. Write the name of the website in the address bar and hit the Enter button. IntelliTamper thoroughly scans and displays all contents found on that particular website (including extra links) in alphabetical order (the program uses a dictionary).

Website scan results

Results are shown in an Explorer-based layout. You can view the name and size of a file, as well as the last date when it was modified. The time it takes to display everything depends on the complexity of the website, but IntelliTamper generally works fast.You can also access files directly from IntelliTamper, as if you were reading them from your hard drive. Furthermore, loading a site map is possible, but also saving one. There is a search function for files, which can be filtered according to size. But it looks into all folders of the website, so you don't have the option of browsing the current folder.

Several flaws

Unfortunately, IntelliTamper crashes one too many times (at least on Windows 7), especially when adding a new website to be scanned, without first stopping the current scan. In addition, IntelliTamper uses a high quantity of CPU and memory resources, so other processes may work slower.

What can you do with this software? For example, you can scan your own website to check how vulnerable your files are in case of a hacker attack, to create a sitemap, to find links to freeware that are not listed on a website, and so on. The bottom line is that IntelliTamper is a useful little tool for scanning your own website.
