Sure enough picking a web browser is an important activity after a fresh system install. There are an abundance of alternatives over the web, but you might not just be interested in a browser for entertainment, but rather testing and research. As such, EasyMultiBrowser wants to provide not one, but four navigation slots.

Four visible navigation slots

Since it doesn’t come packed inside an installer, you can take it for a spin from the moment download is done. You can also carry it around on a thumb drive in case you want to use it on other computers. Note, however, that it requires .NET Framework to function, so you need to be sure it’s installed on the target PC.As the name clearly states, the application wants to make it possible to stay on multiple web pages at a time, and also keep them in sight. Although this can be an ingenious alternative to using multiple browser instances or tabs, it comes at a price, namely preview space, which leaves much to be desired here.

Poor compatibility with modern source code types

The interface isn’t really something to make it stand out from the crowd. A large window holds four sections in which to punch in URLs of the websites of interest and to show preview. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about the poor size specifications of sections. They’re all fitted with corresponding URL fields and navigation controls.There are some additional settings to manage in a dedicated panel. This allows you to specify the start page of each browser section, which can be custom, blank, or the Internet Explorer homepage. Additionally, you can prompt on end, and suppress error messages. Unfortunately, the application isn’t quite capable of properly reading modern bits of code, which might trigger some script errors.

A few last words

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that EasyMultiBrowser comes with good intentions, but its exact purpose can be somewhat unclear to the majority of individuals. Preview space is incredibly small, and you can’t emulate other browsers to test out custom web pages according to different engines.
